Infra-Red Vs Ultra Low Light

Technology is changing the way Night-Vision images are being captured!

Night Vision Technology is being promoted by all leading brands today, under various technological captions like Ultra Low Light, DarkFighter, StarLight, ColorVu, etc.  This technology is typically a combination of high-quality optical sensors / components and /or patented image processing algorithms. Some cameras are able to capture full-color images in extremely low-light conditions reaching 0.001Lux without extra light enhancements.

This technology, obviously higher priced than the conventional Infra-Red LEDs, produces sharp colour images in low light and prevents the flare typically associated with most IR technology in CCTV cameras.
